She Can Sing Again - One family’s fight against the airway Papilloma virus

What is the Papilloma Virus? *

  • Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis, or RRP, is a disease caused by the Human Papilloma Virus, also known as HPV.
  • The virus causes tumor-like lesions to grow on the larynx and, in some cases, in the trachea and lungs.
  • There is no cure for RRP.
  • Left untreated, the lesions may grow and cause suffocation and death.
