The BeamPath® GYN System is a novel technology providing GYN surgeons with the benefits of CO2 laser surgery using a highly precise and controllable hand held instrument. BeamPath GYN utilizes a flexible fiber technology capable of delivery CO2 laser energy to difficult to reach anatomical locations for intra-vaginal procedures. The system is complemented by comfortable hand pieces designed for increased control and a medical laser capable of delivering CO2 energy at multiple power settings and modalities.
BeamPath GYN for Lower Genital Tract Procedures
The Lower Genital Procedure Handpiece Set (GYN-HS-LGT) consists of five handpieces of varying lengths and geometries, specially designed to aid in procedures involving resection and ablation of vulvar, vaginal and cervical lesions.
- Vulva surgery: GYN-HP-3.5 - Straight tip handpiece (3.5cm working length)
- Vaginal surgery: GYN-HP-6, GYN-HP-6B - Straight and bent tip handpieces (6cm working length)
- Cervical surgery: GYN-HP-13, GYN-HP-13B - Straight and bent tip handpieces (13cm working length)
The combination of straight and bent handpieces of varying lengths allows surgeons to deliver CO2 laser energy to target tissue from any angle while offering no-touch resection.
BeamPath GYN for Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Procedures
The Laparoscopic Handpiece Set (GYN-HS-LAP) consists of a 29cm working length handpiece (GYN-HP-29) that enables precise dissection, cutting, ablation and microvascular coagulation.
The handpiece set is inclusive of a trocar reducer that reduces the internal diameter of 5mm trocar to 3mm, making the laparoscopic handpiece compatible with both 3mm and 5mm trocars, providing increased flexibility and multiple options for accessing the diseased tissue.
Both sets are provided in autoclave trays for ease of use and handling.
