 Handheld, Flexible, Surgical CO2 Laser

OmniGuide® provides a complete, compact system that enables the flexible delivery of CO2 laser energy. CO2, is the most precise and best absorbed form of surgical laser energy. OmniGuide’s Beampath™ CO2 laser energy system combines precise cutting, ablation and coagulation with minimal thermal damage to adjacent healthy tissue into one versatile and intuitive tool.

Our products are cleared for sale in the US and are CE marked.
 

There are four main components of the OmniGuide BeamPath™ system:

Lasers

Actuated with a footswitch, the laser system enables delivery of CO2 laser energy with power levels ranging up to 25 watts in continuous and pulsed delivery modes.

Adapters

The adapters are used to concentrate energy produced by the laser system into the sub-millimeter hollow core of a BeamPath™ fiber. The adapter is integrated with each laser system we ship.









Fibers

The BeamPath™ flexible fibers link directly to the adapters. They have a hollow core through which the CO2 laser energy and cooling inert gas travel. These flexible fibers can be used either with a hand piece, and held just like a pencil, or through a rigid or flexible endoscope, to facilitate access to difficult to reach anatomy.

 

 

 

Handpieces

BeamPath handpieces are tailored for specific surgical procedures. They are designed to provide the surgeon with control over the fiber’s delivery of CO2 laser energy while maintaining good visibility of target tissue. The narrow profile and compact design of handpieces enable easy access to intricate anatomy.

Gas Flow

The hollow core of the fiber delivers a constant flow of inert gas that clears the surgical field of blood and debris, improves coagulation and may minimize tissue heating. Medical-grade helium or nitrogen is used for this purpose. OmniGuide offers a complete gas assembly, including gas hoses and regulators.

Accessories

The OmniGuide® BeamPath™ system is equipped with various accessories to meet your needs including custom-made sterile laser drapes, gas filter units, and laser safety glasses.
